Following the unveil of the Focus 2 earlier this week, Samsung has outed the Omnia M, another Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone. Headed to European markets, the Omnia M is an entry-level model, but it is still equipped with a Super AMOLED display.
The Omnia M's 4-inch Super AMOLED display features the standard WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution that all Windows Phone devices have. Under the hood, the Omnia M has a 1GHz processor and 384MB of RAM and a 1500mAh battery that supplies the juice. Around back is a 5 megapixel camera, while a VGA camera up front handles video call duties. The phone itself measures 121.6mm x 64.1mm x 10.5mm and weighs 119g.
The Omnia M runs Windows Phone 7.5 and comes with all of the services that one would expect from Windows Phone. It also has Samsung's ChatON and Family Story apps pre-installed. Since the Omnia M only has 384MB of RAM, it is one of the new low-end Windows Phone devices that run the "Tango" version of the OS.
Samsung plans to launch the Omnia M in Europe first, then roll it out to other regions at a later time. An exact launch date was not announced.
