HTC has confirmed that the U.S. Customs review of the EVO 4G LTE smartphone will indeed delay the launch of the device on Sprint, which was due to happen this Friday, May 18. It is not clear how long the review will take, or when the device arrive on store shelves. Sprint has removed the original launch date from the promo page on its website for the EVO 4G LTE. Customs officials are holding up shipments of the EVO 4G LTE and the One X into the U.S. while they investigate whether or not the smartphones infringe upon Apple's patents.
